Humber Et Cetera's Pets and Animals Blog

About

Hello animal lovers!

This is a blog dedicated to pets and animals. It will feature weekly stories about my four-year old ‘Shorkie’ Oliver, as well as some guest entries by other pet enthusiasts – Kari Pritchard and Ruth VanDyken.

The inspiration behind this blog came from the film Marley & Me.

One of my favourite lines from this film sums up what we can all learn from these little furry friends:

“A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn’t care if you’re rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he’ll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?”

– John Grogan

I hope that this blog makes you laugh, smile, and appreciate how much animals have to offer us by being our best friends.

Happy reading!

Sarah 🙂
